The Problem

A credit card game played across dozens of vendor sites

To stock a single med spa, Aspen was ordering from a long list of separate med supply companies, each with its own site, its own account, and its own order to place. Fulfilling the practice's needs meant working across all of them, which made everything cumbersome to track and organize.

Aesthetics carries real supply cost, and Aspen was putting significant volume on cards with rewards that weren't built for a medical practice. On a spend profile that size, what came back didn't register against what the clinic was actually spending.

When something did go wrong, there was no one to call. Aspen's experience with traditional card issuer support felt indirect and impersonal, with no named contact, no direct number, long hold queues, and frequent transfers. For an owner-operated practice, an urgent card problem meant more time getting through to someone than getting the issue fixed.

The Solution

Both halves of the supply problem, moved onto Nitra together

Amy was candid that she started out skeptical of Nitra. Her first questions were how it would work and how she'd move her practice over. Once she made the switch, the purchasing went to NitraMart and the payment went to the Nitra Card, working as one motion: order supplies in a single place, pay with a card that returns more on that spend, and reach a named person when something needs attention.

176 vendors, one storefront

NitraMart became Aspen's single source for med spa supplies, replacing the roster of individual vendor sites the practice had been ordering from. Amy works with a dedicated Nitra rep she calls her "personal shopper." When Aspen needed something specific, like black gloves in particular sizes for each member of the team, her rep sourced it when it wasn't already available on NitraMart. She's also seen NitraMart's price matching beat what she was paying across her previous vendors.

It would streamline your practice, you'll have someone there to help you, and the marketplace has really helped condense down all the different sites I was buying from.

Rewards that beat any other card, and a concierge who picks up

Aspen pays for its supply purchasing with the Nitra Card, where rebates and points accrue. Amy's assessment is direct: the rewards have beaten any other card she's used on any other med supply site. The card also comes with Nitra's concierge support, which she credits with the moment that changed how she thought about the partnership.

The Results

One platform instead of many

The list of med supply vendors Amy was managing has collapsed into a single marketplace, and the ordering work itself is now shared with a rep who knows the practice. Amy walks her storage, names what she needs, and the order gets built. For an owner who is also the clinic's lead aesthetician, that means more time back in the treatment room with patients.

The economics moved in the same direction

Because Aspen's supply spend now runs across NitraMart and the Nitra Card together, the practice captures price matching, rebates, and card rewards on the same purchase instead of choosing between them. Amy describes it as a no-brainer for a practice in an industry where supply cost is a permanent line item.

What she returns to most, though, is the support

She'd tell another med spa owner to get started, and if they haven't already, her question back is simple: why aren't they doing it?

I'd tell them to stop and listen and really see how it works for them. Because to me, I would think: why aren't you doing this?

Amy's read on Nitra is that the team is invested in her practice succeeding, something she hadn't found with previous card or med supply companies.
